About Joy Siegel

Joy Siegel, EdD, MBA, is a cultural gerontologist and is currently an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University. She holds a Doctorate in Gerontology and Organizational Leadership and an MBA in Nonprofit Management. Dr. Siegel is the creator of the Dare to Share loneliness minimization project sponsored by the Batchelor Foundation. Loneliness and is a precursor to heart disease, cancer, and stroke - and it can be fixed!

She also created the Working Palms Radio/Good Work Radio public access show sponsored by Office Depot™ and has been heard on various talk radio stations. She has spent nearly 10 years as a host and producer, working with renowned artists, authors, politicians, actors, and actresses, discussing their personal efforts to make the world a better place. Joy has been published and actively contributes to cutting-edge studies for seniors, including sex and sexuality, successful aging within the LGBT senior community, loneliness, family relations, and perception of healthcare.
